| It sometimes seems like a long-ago and far-away time when Southern
Sustainability began as a volunteer task force to encourage greener practices
at the University and here in our community. That was summer 1998. We are still
a small group (truly grassroots!), but have managed to co-facilitate a number
of great programs - recently the Heartland Bioneers Conference, Saluki Cycles,
and the Save Hickory Lodge campaign, to name a few.
We look forward to forging even more relationships and programs
which enable our community to understand, appreciate, protect, and restore our
natural environment. It would be an honor to have you with us on the journey.
We have several membership levels - a mere $10 per year will get
you rooted & sprouted with our organization! :) Also remember that SICSF
is a 501©3 non-profit corporation, so contributions are tax-deductible.
Please review our list of membership
levels and corresponding benefits, and when you're ready to become a member
of SICSF, the membership
form is right here. |
